Have to say it.... not a huge fan of Anita Blake. Love Love Love Jean Claude though. I find Anita to be weak and annoying. She's got lots of attitude but nothing to really back it up. As an Animator she has lots of power but doesn't do you much good in a face off with a vampire. Additionally, she isn't very smart about her decisions. Gives herself loads of good advice but doesn't take it. It is somewhat disappointing. I hope, like good wine, it will get better over time.
